Something about slicing an item using thin strong metal wires scares me, and seems like there would be an easier option, at least one that children could use. My idea for a new cheese cuber would be something in between an apple slicer and a cheese cuber.

It would be metal on the bottom and plastic on the sides and square in shape. The nice thing about this, is that you can make it adjustable by just pulling the ends. That would allow the customer to choose what size cheese they want, whether it be small square cubes, or long rectangles for crackers or bread.
