What? We already have ice cube trays that allow us to pop out individual cubes of ice when we want!!

Now that you've already gotten ahead of yourself, that is not what I am proposing. Those are smart, but my main problem with ice trays is the fact that if you use half of the tray and want to start making more ice, you can't. You either have to choose between waiting for an entire new tray to fill or only allow yourself half of the tray of ice to use.

If ice cube trays could be split in two horizontally, then you can take the empty half and refill it, while using the other frozen half to chill your chosen beverage.

Let's go one step further. Lets add little 1/2 inch legs to the base and small holes on the top structure. This way they can stack without having the bases touch the clean cubes.
